Sherrill’s Inn is a special, historic place where people have been gathering for over two centuries. With several main venues for wedding ceremonies, gatherings, receptions and dancing, we invite you to host your wedding or special event with us and enjoy the mountain views and cool, crisp air.
Fields & Yards:
Sherrill’s Inn features several well manicured yards and fields to host your wedding ceremony, event, or reception. Bordered by towering trees or meticulously groomed boxwood shrubs, these spaces each have their own character, so we encourage you to schedule a visit to determine with space would best suit your needs.
The Ceremony Field: 30’x60’, 8’x20’ natural stage space
The Boxwood Yard: 50’x65’
The Back Yard: 35’x65’
The Reception Field: 75’x225’, 8’x20’ bandstand
The Inn:
While Sherrill’s Inn does not board visitors overnight, we do welcome wedding parties to prepare for their ceremonies in several large rooms and the library in the historic house. In addition to the elegant interior of the Inn, we do allow gatherings and ceremonies on our covered porch which looks out over the manicured yards and gardens.

Photo Sites:
This historic place has many secret spaces to discover to create your photographic keepsakes in. Mountain views, towering boxwoods, grapevine tunnels, blossoming gardens and orchards, and even an in-ground trampoline make capturing the perfect moment a welcome adventure.
Amenities: Our reception site has portable restrooms and hand washing stations with upgraded facilities available for your events.
